Anomalous London is an information portal for anomalous experiences in London. For those unsure how to pronounce anomalous it is.......

A-NOM-A-L-OUS, which means eccentric, unusual and quirky.

London has lots to offer, much of which is not revealed within regular tourist guides or difficult to find on the clustered London websites. If you fancy doing something different in London and are adventurous, this is the site for you!!!

The simple format of Anomalous London offers a Londonner's perspective of quirky experiences in the Capital, from distinctive restaurants and unique bars to unmatched sight-seeing adventures and exceptional events.

Run voluntarily by a passionate Londonner keen to share the quirks of the city and beyond, it was launched in March 2013 after much frustration trying to find unique places to EAT and DRINK in London.

Shortly afterwards in April, ‘Quirk of the week’ started, which is a unique event happening in the city that week worthy of a feature which is then moved to the archive section. To help the users keep up to date with Anomalous London’s activities a monthly newsletter started to be sent out in June that year. By the end of the year the events being promoted became so popular that Anomalous London offered competitions  so as to give readers an opportunity to win tickets.

Valuable time and energy is spent scouting around London looking for these anomalous places to feature on this unique, user-friendly site. Every venue which gets featured has been visited personally so that an honest write-up can be posted. If it is felt that the venue has not met the Anomalous London criteria then it will not get featured. In this instance the management is contacted and given constructive feedback. Anomalous London believes in sharing the best of what London has to offer and has no time for the less ordinary.
