Coinciding with the World's famous, prestigious Chelsea Flower Show, which is celebrating its 100th year, Chelsea in Bloom is an alternate flower show which is a competitive event for over 30 retailers along the Kings Road and Sloane Street.

In association with the Royal Horticultural Society, the retailers taking part, use fresh flower and plants to create imaginative, quirky shop-front displays, for a coveted award. These eye-catching, spectacularly quirky displays can be enjoyed even further with free rickshaw guided tours throughout the day from 10.30am - 4.30pm. Tours start from Sloane Square and end at Duke of York Square. Sloane Square will have a pop-up restaurant and champagne bar and to keep with the floral theme, a Wall of Flowers and a Seed Pantry. A fun, colourful, floral, day out throughout this week. Be a part of what Chelsea is proud of!

LATE NIGHT MUSEUM OPENINGS IN LONDON

Ever faniced going to the museum after dark? It is a totally unique and quirky experience. For a few days only this event will have various Museums, Galleries and historic places around the Capital keeping their doors open till late at night and some even overnight, offering sleepovers! The World on Regent Street

12th May

 

Once again, the whole of London’s most iconic shopping street will be traffic-free to allow for a World festive street party with cultural entertainment and traditional food from the participating countries. This new event will see the following countries taking part: Turkey, Egypt, Great Britain, China, Argentina, Trinidad & Tobago, Malaysia & Australia. Each will have their own authentic cuisines on offer and entertaining performances including tango lessons, henna artists & face painting. The highlight of the event will be the hot air balloon hovering over Regent Street. Most of the stores along Regent Street will also be taking part in the event by offering special discounts on purchases made on the day, and in-store entertainment and goodie bags will also be given on selected purchases.

Canalway Cavalcade

4th-6th May

@ Little Venice, Paddington.

 

Enjoy the festivities over May Day Bank holiday weekend at London’s iconic canal venue. This annual free event attracts over 150 diverse boats, from historic canal working boats to holiday and residential house boats. All decked up in bright bunting and different themes, the boats will all be moored in at this one location. This colourful, quirky event will have lots of activities for the whole family. Guided walks, competitions, boat trips, food and drink stalls, music and theatre, trade and craft show and the highlight of the event will be the live music and procession of illuminated boats on Sunday evening @ 8.30pm.
