Set within 300 acres of immaculate parkland, historic gardens, lakes and monuments, this Grade 1 listed palladian mansion was founded in 1908 as the first Country Club in Britain although the estate has over 1,000 years of history. Stoke Park prides itself on family heritage and is currently only one of a few independently family owned and operated UK resorts.

The Mansion has 21 luxurious bedrooms including 5 suites. Each room is distinct and is furnished with fine art, antiques, rich soft furnishings, large beds and open fire places. Modern luxuries such as Ipod docks and HD TVs are also provided. All the rooms have spectacular views of the estate, with some having terraces and a view of Windsor Castle. A unique quirk within the Mansion is that every room is named after a historical connection to the estate as opposed to having mundane numbers, this gives a personal touch and association to the estate. Anomalous London stayed in the ‘William and Mary’ junior suite which overlooks the first tee and practice putting green.
Humphry’s, is the fine dining restaurant, headed by the talented Chef Chris Wheeler. It has been awarded 3 AA Rosettes and is renowned in the Buckinghamshire area as one of the finest. Fresh, local ingredients are used to create a seasonal menu, with options for A La carte, set or a gastronomic tasting menu. The pan-fried seabass, one of Chris’s signature dishes is amazingly crisp and flavoursome a must try.
Stoke Park has 13 multi surface courts so tennis fans are spoilt for choice. 6 Wimbeldon specification grass courts, 3 indoor and 4 all weather. The Club is renowned for The Boodles tournament which has been held for the past 12 years, prior to Wimbeldon and attended by the top players. An intimate setting due to limited seating, it is a great opportunity to see the elite close up in action.
