One of the best day spas in the country, Stoke Park Spa is an award winning spa set within the Pavilion on the extensive 300 acre Stoke Park estate and offers visitors a range of luxurious facilities. The spa treatments are amazing with a good selection for both women and men available.

Spa Reception

Entering the spa through the revolving doors, the welcoming staff at the spa reception require spa visitors to sign in and then are shown around the facilities.

Spa Changing Room

Spa visitors have access to exclusive rooms which are set alongside the member’s changing rooms.  However, the main area will need to be accessed for the Italian marble steam room and the pool. Fluffy white robes and slippers are provided in the lockers which are digitally coded so no need to walk around with a locker key! The ‘rain showers’ are super amazing with abundant hot water.  Plentiful sample spa products are available for guests to try out or take home.

Spa Atrium

This cosy spa area has separate seating areas, all with plush sofas for you to lounge in. A five metre tropical aquarium along the length of the wall separates this room from the swimming pool. Fresh fruit, healthy snacks, herbal teas and water are available and a variety of the latest fashion and culture magazine issues are provided. There is a central circular table used for spa lunches. If additional food or drinks are required there is a direct dial phone available which connects to the San Marco restaurant and any request can be delivered to the Atrium.

Indoor Pool

The 16m heated swimming pool has quirky hydrotherapy jets, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the immaculate gardens, sun-loungers around the pool and on the outside decking area. Swim while admiring the gardens on one side and the tropical aquarium on the other.

Treatment Room

11 good sized individual treatment rooms, each personalised by the therapists, from the soothing music to the fragrances used around the room, even fragranced towels! Exclusive treaments available with the brands Thalgo, Terrake and Caci. Anomalous had a Thalgo treatment which uses active marine ingredients to harness your well-being.  Specific massage techniques applied allow the skin to soak in the fragranced oils and creams used resulting in a relaxed, revitalized, silky-smooth body. The therapists are informative on the products and techniques they use and share this knowledge prior to or during the treatment, depending upon request. The heated massage beds are an added bonus to any treatment.

Relaxation Room

After any treatment, this is a quiet, dark room to come to for complete relaxation and tranquillity. Small individual beds are provided with pillows and light, fluffy blankets to snuggle in. Switch off to the outside world and stay here for as long as you like.

Fitness Studio

An airy large room which has mirrors on one side of the wall and folding glass doors on the other which overlook the grass tennis courts and gardens. This brings in a lot of natural light to the studio and in the summer months the doors are opened. A very unique studio compared to most which have no outside light and are usually hidden in basements! With over 40 classes to choose from, all the instructors are well qualified. I really enjoyed the yoga class and felt totally rejuvenated after the class.

Set on two floors with views over the estate gardens, there is a huge selection of various latest exercise machines and free weights. Instructors are on hand to give you the guidance required.

Nail Studio

Found alongside the spa reception, this cosy little studio offers a range of manicures and pedicures for both women and men.

San Marco Restaurant

A lovely Italian restaurant, adjacent to the spa, which provides a good range of dishes with several lighter options as you may not want to over indulge on a spa day. There is a great outdoor space for alfresco dining.

Visiting Stoke Park Spa is a unique experience and there are plenty of various activities available. Spa visitors should definitely take the heritage walk around the estate, this is an interesting walk which takes about 45 minutes and maps can be provided from the spa reception.

Tennis can also be played on either indoors or outdoors, please book in advance. The indoor courts are a good experience if you have not played indoors.

As there is not enough time in the day to try out everything, the only decision required will be which treatment to have and what facilities to use. Best is to have a spa treatment towards the end of the day and do the other activities first. Whatever is selected, spa visitors will leave totally relaxed and rejuvenated at the end of their spa day and this is a guarantee!
